Study Topics, Assignments and Due Dates

There will be a weekly study report or essay on the week's topics, usually due 9am Monday of the following week.
The Reports are in the form of an MS Word document (.doc file) for students to download, fill in during the week, save, and email back to the Instructor at the end of the week.
If you are unable to work with .doc files, please contact the Instructor to arrange for an alternate format for the file.

9 am Monday, October 24 : Report 9 - Phoenicia, Carthage and Rome

 

9 am Monday, October 31 : Report 10 - The Punic Wars

 

9 am Monday, November 7 : Report 11 - Julius Caesar, Marc Anthony, Cleopatra VII, the Roman occupation of Israel

 

9 am Monday, November 14 : Report 12 - Herod, Pharisees, Saduccees, Essenes, Zealots

 

9 am Monday, November 21 : Report 13 - The Roman Emperors

 

9 am Monday, December 5 : Report 14 - Jewish Revolts, Josephus, Rabbinic Judaism, the Early Church, the Canon of Scripture

 

9 am Monday, December 12 : Report 15 - The Pseudepigrapha and other non-canonical literature

 

Midnight, Wednesday, December 14 : Final Exam
