1. Discuss the Fall of Jericho, as described in the Book of Joshua. How is this in accord or in contrast with the archaeological findings.

3. From the account of Wen-Amun's Journey, what picture do we get of the inhabitants of the Levant and their relationship to Egypt.
4. What is the significance of the Merneptah stele for the dating of Israel as a nation or tribe
5. Write a brief account of the reign of Ramses III
6. From the Book of Judges - write an account of the conflict of Deborah, Barak, and Jael, with Sisera and Jabin. Are there any details in the Biblical account which would help to locate it in the archaeological setting?
