REL 107 - Introduction to Religion

Essays

Essays should preferably be prepared using MS-Word, and e-mailed to Dr. Rollinson at rel107@hellokitty.com, rel107@mail2world.com, rel107@catholic.org as an Attachment.
Please do not use macros when writing your essays - the anti-virus software used by ENMU deleted the whole of one of my students essays because it thought the macro was a virus.
If you wish to use another method, please contact Dr. Rollinson first.

Apart from Essay No. 1, which may be from one to three pages in length, essays should be from three to ten pages in length, consisting of material relevant to the topic. They should not consist of material cut-and-pasted from encyclopedias, on-line crib sites, or other material not of your own writing.

You should check your work with Turnitin before sending it to me.
Work which indicates a Breach of Academic Integrity will result in a grade of "F" for the Course.
Work which is given a red flag by Turnitin will usually be given a grade of "F", for that Assignment.
Work which is given an orange flag by Turnitin will usually be given a grade of "D" for that Assignment.

Write an account of your visit to a Buddhist temple if there is one in your area. You are not required to join in the worship, but to meet the worshippers and talk to them
6 November 26 Compare and contrast Hinduism with the other religions you have studied in this course so far
OR
Write an account of your visit to a Hindu, Sikh, or Jain temple, or Shinto shrine if there is one in your area. You are not required to join in the worship, but to meet the worshippers and talk to them
