These Pages are provided primarily for the students enrolled in the Course GR 202 -
Beginning Greek (continuation of GR 201).
They may also be used as general resource material for students taking other courses, or for anyone else interested in studying Greek.
To see the Greek text correctly, you will need to install the Greek font SPIonic in your font folder. You can download the font
here, or a zip file of SPIonic and several other useful Greek fonts
here. Once you have installed SPIonic you can see and print out a keyboard map of SPIonic
here, which will help you when you need to do word-processing in Greek.
More fonts, and information about Greek fonts, are available on
the font pages.
If you need further instructions or help with installing and working with Greek fonts, please
contact Dr. Rollinson.
NOTE - There are many other Greek fonts available, but most of them have some of the letters of the alphabet linked to other keys of the keyboard - they will spell words incorrectly if you try to use them for these Course Pages
SPIonic should be installed on all the terminals in the Computer Labs and the Golden Library. If it is not, please notify Dr. Rollinson
If you have questions or would like to make comments, send e-mail to Dr. Rollinson.
